How the calculation works
Wall area = wall length × wall height, minus doors and windows. Divide the net wall area by the brick face area including the mortar joint. Add a waste allowance for ordering.
Example: calculate the gross wall area, subtract openings, then allow extra material for cuts and breakage.

Check the drawing, dimensions, openings, mix or product specification and local supplier units. For structural work, follow the project engineer's specification rather than an online estimate.
